STOP THE ROT: PROTECT & PRESERVE OUR HOUSING STOCK

• Residential properties are being left to rot across Sydney

• Collapsed roofs, overgrown gardens and lawns, garbage bins and mail strewn about

• Pathetic barrier fences erected as token act

• Shopping trolleys parked in front gardens

• Absentee landlords slink about but say nothing

• Homeless people sleep under the stars during winter

• Recent rain makes outdoor living a tricky experience

• Numbers of homeless increase as our society collapses

• Government and opposition clueless about putting people into houses

• Most empty properties are not yet ruined and remain entirely habitable

• Each empty property awaits your attention and care to stave off dilapidation

• Take a friend with you to observe any empty property

• Discuss any further considerations with people you trust

• Economic downturn and financial crisis are likely heading our way

• When government fails, it is up to you to support yourself and your loved ones

• At crisis inflection point, people will have to house themselves, seek knowledge now

• Housing is a right, not a privilege

• If you spot an empty property,

write down the street address and send it to Punk Human.
